Oil on Metal
I was making seascape monotypes at Seacourt Print workshop and using pieces of scrap commercial lithographic metal plate to work on. The ink looked really lovely on the plate prior to printing, and I thought it would be interesting to see how they dried out. So these pieces have come about by "accident" and have brought me much pleasure. They are semi-abstract recollections of days on Strangford Lough, and evoke the effect of light and weather conditions on the water and shorelines.
